This role is responsible for maintaining accurate construction records, organizing project documentation, and ensuring information is properly tracked and accessible throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working with construction-related documentation and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update project files, including contracts, change orders, permits, invoices, and reports Track and record project-related information such as costs, materials, labor hours, and equipment usage Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission or filing Organize digital and physical records in accordance with company standards Assist project managers and office staff with retrieving project information Ensure timely processing of documentation related to ongoing construction projects Support compliance by maintaining required regulatory and safety records
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) Previous experience in construction administration, records management, or office support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and document management systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with construction terminology and workflows Experience working with job costing, purchase orders, or invoicing Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
