The Documentation Specialist with Pioneer Medical Group will perform internal audits for multiple specialties. Monitoring standards and regulatory guidelines in billing and coding, keeping medical staff updated of these guidelines and conducting appropriate training and education with the medical staff. The Auditor will report to the Director of Documentation Compliance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Auditing Physicians and APP's notes for accuracy in coding and documentation
- Educating clinicians
- Reconciliation of charges and charge correction
- Research and keep current with CMS Guidelines
- Data Entry Knowledge, Skills, and/or
Abilities Required:

- Data Entry Skills
- ICD 10-PCS and CPT efficient
Education/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- Certifications- CPC
- Medical terminology
- Previous Auditing experience is a plus
- Previous coding experience is a plus
