Job Title:
Quality Documentation SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a meticulous Quality Documentation Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality in raw materials and finished products. The role involves inspecting raw materials upon receipt, approving samples, coordinating laboratory testing, and assuring adherence to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities + Inspect and approve raw materials upon receipt. + Coordinate and perform raw material sample testing. + Ensure adherence to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Conduct environmental, food contact surface, and finished product testing. + Collaborate with the laboratory for testing coordination. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control. + Experience with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis. + Strong data entry skills. + Familiarity with laboratory processes, audits, and FDA regulatory compliance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred with 1+ years of experience in a GMP environment. + An associate's degree in a scientific field with 3+ years of experience in quality documentation within a GMP environment is also acceptable. Work Environment The position operates on a Monday to Friday shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with very minimal overtime. The work environment is structured around regulatory compliance and laboratory settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
