Job Description

Description The Training & Document Control Supervisor is responsible for leading the manufacturing center's training programs and document control processes to ensure employee capability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role oversees the development and delivery of training initiatives, management of controlled documents and records, and preparation for internal and external audits. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the supervisor ensures employees have the knowledge, resources, and documented procedures necessary to perform their work safely, effectively, and in compliance with company standards
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs that support business objectives and employee development. Conduct training needs assessments and partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities. Develop and maintain training materials, including instructor-led, virtual, on-the-job, and eLearning content. Manage training records, learning management systems (LMS), qualification matrices, and employee certification requirements. Measure training effectiveness through reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document Control & Compliance:
Oversee document control processes, including the creation, revision, approval, distribution, and retention of controlled documents. Maintain document management systems and ensure current procedures, work instructions, policies, and records are accurate and audit ready. Establish and monitor document control standards to support quality, operational, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate internal and external audit preparation activities, including document review, record retrieval, corrective action tracking, and audit support. Ensure training records, compliance documentation, and operational procedures meet organizational and regulatory standards. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance compliance, documentation practices, and training processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, document control, quality systems, manufacturing operations, or a related function. Experience managing document control systems, records management, and audit preparation activities. Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and employee development practices Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), electronic document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting quality, regulatory, or compliance-driven environments. Knowledge of learning measurement methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
