DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective Responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing commercial loan documentation and closing packages, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Enter and complete loan data in Loan Vantage commercial system Verify pre-closing loan due diligence by using the Loan Vantage checklists Complete the loan documentation closing package through commercial loan documentation system Verify accuracy of loan documents by using a checklist. Ensure loan files contain the applicable forms, documentation, proper signatures, dates and other relevant information by using a checklist. Responsible for verifying the disbursement of loan proceeds before file is sent to CBA and Banker for closing. Forward the loan closing documentation package to CBA and Banker for signatures. Provide support and guidance to the CBA and commercial team to provide quality service and meet expectations of service beyond expectation. Perform various clerical duties including filing, faxing, photocopying and word processing. Performs post-closing review functions; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information Contact and maintain regular contact with bank partners, community partners and other outside sources to obtain necessary information. Review the status of pending loans and follows-up for timely completion. Work with Loan Review department to ensure exceptions are resolved in a timely manner. Follows all established security and internal control procedures to protect the assets of the Bank and its customers. Maintains proficiency in using all applicable software to this position Other Duties Cross-market financial products and services as well as make referrals to Burke Mortgages, , Burke Financial Services and retail operations. Stay abreast of current developments in loan policy and procedures through reading, research and formal education. Other duties as assigned Skills/Abilities Microsoft Office experience required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent customer service skills required. High level of professionalism in written and verbal communication. Understand applicable legal and regulatory matters directly related to loan documentation and lien perfection. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer. Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Travel Limited local travel may be required for this position. Education and Experience Two years prior loan documentation experience preferred. Associate's Degree or equivalent related work experience.
