Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Permit Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the entire permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your expertise will help streamline permit acquisition, maintain accurate documentation, and support project teams in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and submit permit applications in accordance with local building codes, zoning regulations, environmental laws, and construction standards Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to facilitate permit approval processes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards, FDA regulations, environmental law, and construction regulations relevant to permit requirements Monitor project progress to ensure ongoing compliance with permits and report any deviations or violations promptly Develop comprehensive reports on permitting status, compliance issues, and regulatory reporting for internal use and external agencies Assist in managing environmental compliance documentation and ensuring adherence to local ordinances and public permitting standards Experience Proven experience in construction project support or regulatory compliance management within a construction or environmental setting Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction safety protocols Strong understanding of environmental law, building code analysis, zoning regulations, and local building codes Experience working with government agencies on public permits and regulatory reporting processes Excellent report writing skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare detailed documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report preparation and data management Prior administrative experience handling permit applications, compliance records, or regulatory documentation is highly desirable Join us to play a crucial role in safeguarding public health through meticulous permit management!
