In this role, you will be responsible for managing the permitting process for construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. Your expertise will help streamline approvals, facilitate communication with regulatory agencies, and uphold the highest standards of environmental and public health safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while ensuring adherence to local and state permitting requirements. Duties Prepare, review, and submit permit applications in accordance with local building codes, environmental laws, and construction regulations Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to determine permit requirements and compliance standards Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to facilitate permit approvals and resolve issues promptly Monitor project progress to ensure ongoing compliance with permits and applicable regulations throughout construction phases Compile comprehensive reports on permitting status, environmental compliance measures, and regulatory reporting for internal use and external audits Stay current on updates to OSHA standards, FDA regulations related to public health, environmental law changes, and local ordinances affecting construction projects Assist in developing strategies for environmental compliance management and building code analysis to prevent violations Qualifications Proven experience in construction permitting or regulatory compliance management within the construction industry Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, environmental law, FDA regulations related to public health, and local building codes Experience interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for permit requirements Excellent report writing skills with the ability to prepare detailed documentation for regulatory submissions Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance processes and environmental permitting procedures Ability to analyze building code compliance issues and recommend corrective actions Effective communication skills for liaising with government agencies, contractors, and project teams Join us if you're passionate about ensuring safe, compliant construction practices that protect public health and the environment.
