We are seeking a dynamic, growth-focused Environmental Principal to join our team in a senior seller-doer role. This position is designed for an experienced environmental and EHS professional who brings both deep technical expertise and a strong business-development mindset. The ideal candidate has an established network of clients and the ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and grow a book of business while serving as a trusted technical advisor. This is a highly flexible opportunity with respect to location. The position can be based anyw within Apex's Central Region, with remote, hybrid, or office-based arrangements available depending on the candidate's location and business needs. The role will support both regional and national clients. The Role As an Environmental Principal, you will play a key role in expanding Apex's environmental and EHS consulting services throughout the Central Region. This is a true seller-doer position: you will leverage your technical background and industry relationships to identify client needs, develop new opportunities, win work, and provide senior-level technical leadership. The role has a strong emphasis on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) services, while also providing the opportunity to support broader environmental consulting needs. We are looking for someone who understands how to approach a client, uncover their challenges, develop solutions, and build long-term relationships that translate into sustained business growth. You will have access to Apex's national platform and broad range of technical services, allowing you to bring additional resources and capabilities to clients as their needs evolve.
