Director of Technology New York, United States Apply for this job Director of Wastewater Technology Position Overview Hunter Crown is seeking a Head of Technical Solutions for an innovative organization serving the water and environmental infrastructure market. This senior role combines wastewater engineering expertise, utility engagement, and technical leadership. Professional Responsibility and Scope Serve as a senior technical authority for utility and engineering partners. Lead technical scoping, site evaluations, process assessments, proposal support, and design discussions while helping build repeatable technical solutions practices and mentor future team members. Location and Lifestyle Context The role is primarily associated with the Northeast, with flexibility possible for an exceptional candidate. Travel to customer and project sites is expected approximately 20 to 50 percent of the time. Long Term Professional Growth This is an opportunity to help build a growing technical function and influence engineering practices, customer strategy, team development, and future project execution. Compensation Base salary is approximately $135,000 to $220,000 , depending on experience and scope. Potential equity, health benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off may also be included. This leader will work closely across engineering, operations, commercial, and technical development teams. Experience and Qualification Summary Candidates should bring 10 or more years of wastewater process engineering, biological treatment design, or related experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Strong wastewater treatment knowledge, process design experience, technical writing ability, and credibility with utility and engineering stakeholders are essential.
