Job Description
Description Markon is seeking a Test Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratorys's A4WFleet Interactive Training Equipment (FITE). FITEs are high-fidelity simulation platforms used to develop and maintain the operational readiness skills of the deployed fleet.

NOTE:
This role does require work to be done onsite at the West Mifflin, PA location regularly, but this position can be done remotely 10% of the time. Responsibilities Support theA4W FITE
platform, and will cross-train to support the A1B FITEplatform. Certify hardware and software based field changes prior to deployment tothe FITE sites. Focus on plant operations and confirm FITE operational values.with expected plant response. Test Engineers also Support other groups as they develop field changes as these groups leverage the Bettis located FITE preproduction units.Qualifications Required:
Must have active DOE L clearance or a DoD Secret clearance to be considered. Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university - 6+ years of relevant experience. Previous A4W qualification as Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW), Propulsion Plant Watch Officer (PPWO), or Engineering Watch Supervisor (EWS). Semiannual travel to other NNPP sites Ability to cross-train on the A1B platform - Ability to learn the simulation software platform.Desired:
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills. Ability to team and solve complex problems. Ability to work independently and complete assignments for all aspects of work with minimal direction from management. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Travel:
Travel to CONUS locations is required semi-annually (or less than 10%).
