Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Remote Surveillance Technical Lead manages the Central Monitoring Command Center, overseeing 24/7 CCTV feeds, automated threat-detection analytics, access control systems, and alarm infrastructure. This role ensures the technical integrity of all surveillance networks, troubleshoots hardware/software faults, and directs remote monitoring operators during active security events.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the central command center's video management systems (VMS), IP cameras, thermal imaging arrays, and network recording hardware. Supervise shifts of remote surveillance operators, ensuring rigorous monitoring standards and rapid incident escalation. Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure encrypted, secure data transmission and prevent system vulnerabilities. Program and calibrate automated motion, perimeter breach, and facial/license-plate recognition analytics. Maintain detailed logs of all security incidents, system maintenance, and hardware deployment upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent specialized technical certification). Minimum 4+ years of experience in enterprise security integration, CCTV network administration, or command center operations.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in IP networking, VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec), hardware diagnostics, and high-pressure incident command.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
