COMPLIANCE JOB SUMMARY
The Compliance Specialist, reporting to the Supervisor for Dispute Resolution within the Special Education Department (OSEEI), is a key member of the Procedural Support and Compliance team. This role provides comprehensive support to school-based staff through professional development, file and data reviews, trend analysis and reporting, and compliance monitoring of regulatory timelines at federal, state, and local levels. The Compliance Specialist engages in a systematic process of modeling, coaching, and consulting to ensure adherence to procedural standards. Serving as a vital link across the leadership team, this position plays an integral role in developing and implementing processes and procedures that ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for students with disabilities.
