FIRENO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
AVERAGE PAY:
$58,249- $72,319/ANNUAL Overtime pay after 40 hours; All positions are full time assignments with an average of 56-hour work-weeks.

This position will have the opportunity to test for all promotional opportunities within the Cathedral City Fire Department.Possible promotion opportunities consist of:
re-classification from Ambulance Operator to Firefighter EMT or Firefighter Paramedic. All job qualifications and requirements must be met prior to testing for the promotion.APPLY IMMEDIATELY!

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess all of the following: A high school diploma or GED equivalent At least 18 years of age A valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record A California Motor Vehicle Ambulance Certification Endorsement (at time of appointment) A valid Emergency Medical Technician-1 (EMT-1) Certificate or higher at the time of application. Based upon the information presented on the application, a limited number of candidates who possess qualifications most pertinent to the position will be invited to participate in the selection process. - Grading for practical exams will be consistent with the National Registry. Skills testing will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis, upon successful review of application. Panel Interview evaluation
- If you are selected to interview, you will participate in a 30 minute panel interview following the skills exam. Department Head Interview
- Upon successful completion of panel interview, candidates will participate in a department head interview with the Fire Chief, immediately after the panel interview.
