We're seeking an experienced Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems throughout the region. What's In It For You? ? $25-$35 per hour based on experience ? Potential quarterly bonuses ? Company vehicle with take-home privileges ? Time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked between 6 PM and 5 AM ? 4-hour minimum emergency call pay at time-and-a-half ? Double-time emergency call pay on recognized holidays ? Company-paid Life, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage What You'll Do Inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems Work with industry-leading systems including ANSUL, Pyro Chem, Range Guard, and Piranha Perform fire marshal inspections and acceptance testing Troubleshoot and diagnose suppression system issues in the field Identify code deficiencies and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes Complete detailed service reports and documentation Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service What We're Looking For ? Experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems ? Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards ? Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points ? Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience ? Ability to work occasional nights, early mornings, and weekends ? Comfortable working on ladders and lifts ? Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in confined spaces when needed ? Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Why Join Zing?
