Job Description

The town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic. Responsibilities include professional, operational and technical work associated with combating, extinguishing and preventing fires; professional, administrative, and technical work associated with Emergency Medical Technician services; professional work associated with rescue operations. Schedule is rotating 24-hour shifts that result in an average 42-hour workweek over an eight-week cycle. Successful candidates must have a HS diploma; Bachelor's degree/courses in fire service related subjects highly preferred. Must have a valid MA driver's license and EMT license. Current MA Paramedic certification strongly preferred.
Starting Salary Range:
