Job Description
The City of Elkins Fire Department is accepting applications for the fire civil service test. The Civil Service Test comprises of a physical exam, exam, and interview. Applicants must pass all three levels of the examination for placement on the eligibility list. The purpose of this testing is to generate a list of applicants eligible for entry level appointments to the ranks of the paid civil-service Elkins Fire Department. There are currently no openings at EFD. However, to be considered for future openings, one must pass the physical and written tests to be placed on a list of eligible candidates.
