Raleigh, NC Investigation Analyst Job Description Salary/Benefits:
Starting salary is $40,116.00. Organization offers a hybrid work schedule and excellent benefits including health insurance and retirement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or Paralegal studies. 2. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel. 3. Excellent investigative skills and the ability to follow up on documentation, when necessary. 4. Excellent administrative, clerical and typing skills. 5. Positive attitude, professional demeanor. 6. Strong work ethic, highly organized and self-disciplined. 7. Must be trustworthy, capable of maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Duties:
1. Review and process general and supplemental applications for admission to practice law in North Carolina, from the point application is received in the office until final action has been taken by the Board. Responsible for approximately 25% of the office intake of applicant files. 2. Conduct character and fitness investigation for all assigned applicant files. 3. Outline character and fitness issues for each assigned applicant file, and prepare them for review by the Executive Director. 4. Communicate regularly and promptly with all assigned applicants during the processing of the application. 5. Post examination results to secure applicant portal for each assigned applicant. 6. Close all assigned applicant files and prepare for transfer to North Carolina State Bar and North Carolina Archives. 7. General office duties and responsibilities.
