Associate Attorney - Family Law

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and eager Associate Attorney with 1-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, specifically high asset or high conflict cases. An Associate at Palmer Family Law must have excellent communication and litigation skills, as well as a commitment to your clients. An Associate will work independently and be self-motivated, but will be mentored by top-rated attorneys. Responsibilities

• Oversee case timelines and critical deadlines to ensure strategic, organized case development.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, legal correspondence, and family law agreements.
• Advocate for clients in hearings and court proceedings with professionalism and strong litigation skills.
• Partner with legal support staff in a collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented environment.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, guidance, and responsive support throughout their case.
• Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and parties, demonstrating a solutions-focused and professional approach.

Qualifications Admission to the Colorado bar; 1-7 years of legal experience, preferably in family law; Strong understanding of legal principles and standard practice of family law in Colorado; Self-motivated; Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail; Strong communication skills; Litigation experience as the first-chair attorney.

$90,000 - $150,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience
