Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case file organization, document review, and management using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw. Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including civil litigation, estate planning, environmental law, and tribal law. Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage court filings and procedural deadlines to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations. Coordinate client interviews, witness statements, and expert consultations to gather pertinent case information. Prepare summaries of legal research findings and assist in the development of case strategies. Provide executive administrative support including calendar management, scheduling meetings, handling confidential information with discretion, and maintaining meticulous records. Support attorneys with project management tasks related to complex litigation cases or multi-practice initiatives. Maintain effective communication with clients via phone and email while ensuring professional etiquette at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Litigation Assistant or Paralegal within a law office environment supporting civil litigation or related practice areas. Strong knowledge of procedural law across various jurisdictions along with familiarity with workers' compensation law, personal injury law, family law and immigration law, Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with document review software like Clio is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with legal case management systems like Clio or similar platforms. Experience handling confidential information responsibly with high ethical standards. Strong proofreading skills with an eye for accuracy in legal drafting and correspondence.
