Job Description

Key Responsibilities Manage probate matters from initial consultation through case resolution. Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance regarding probate and estate matters. Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, petitions, court filings, and legal correspondence. Attend and represent clients at probate hearings and other court appearances. Maintain responsibility for case files and ensure timely progression of matters. Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda as needed. Assist with estate administration, guardianship, conservatorship, and related probate proceedings. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management. Maintain compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Georgia, or recent Georgia Bar admittee. 0-4 years of legal experience. Probate experience preferred. Family law or litigation experience is highly desirable. Ability to independently manage files and prioritize competing deadlines. Strong communication, organizational, and client-service skills. Experience attending hearings or a desire to develop courtroom experience. Detail-oriented with excellent drafting and analytical abilities.
