Associate Attorney - Employment & Litigation Law Direct Hire | $110,000 - $150,000+ Salary Troy, MI (On-Site) Are you an experienced Employment Law Attorney looking to take the next step in your legal career? We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of employment law and litigation experience to join a growing and highly respected law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys both litigation and client counseling while serving as a trusted advisor to employers across a variety of industries. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, client development abilities, and existing book of business. What You'll Do Represent and defend employers in employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims Manage cases through all phases of litigation, from initial evaluation through resolution Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas Prepare pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents Conduct legal research and develop case strategies Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and other legal proceedings Advise employers on federal and state employment law compliance matters Counsel clients on HR issues, workplace policies, employee relations matters, and risk management strategies Draft employment-related agreements, policies, correspondence, and settlement documents Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted legal advisor Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law 3+ years of employment law and litigation experience Experience defending employers in employment-related claims Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services Why Join This Firm?
