We are seeking a 2L Summer Law Clerk who will graduate from law school in 2028 to join the Fargo office in Summer 2027. We look for well-rounded individuals who have strong intellectual, problem-solving, analytical, and writing skills, and who have also participated in leadership roles in their schools or communities. Successful candidates display skills and interest in teamwork, an entrepreneurial spirit, taking initiative, a client-orientation, and the ability to create, advance, and deepen relationships. We prefer to see students who are in the top 25% of their class. Ties to or interest in North Dakota are a plus. We do not currently hold a formal summer associate program (with expectation of post-graduate employment) out of our Fargo office, but our law clerk gets great exposure to our attorneys and interesting client work.
