About the Firm We are a fast-growing, full-service law firm based in New York City, with a dynamic team of 30+ professionals serving clients across commercial litigation, real estate, corporate/business transactions, estate planning, and immigration . As we continue to expand, we are hiring multiple Junior Associates/Law Clerks who are fluent in Mandarin and English to join different practice teams and grow with us. About the Roles We are currently hiring Law Clerk/Junior Associates in the following departments: Commercial Litigation Real Estate Transactions Corporate & Business Law and/or Estate Planning These roles are ideal for early-career attorneys who want hands-on experience, early client contact, and the opportunity to take ownership of cases under the guidance of experienced attorneys. Each position offers a fast-paced, challenging environment with direct exposure to active matters and real clients — especially within the Mandarin-speaking community. Key Responsibilities (by Department) Commercial Litigation Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and legal memoranda Conduct legal research and prepare court filings Assist with case strategy, factual investigations, and trial preparation Appear at court conferences and hearings under attorney supervision Communicate with clients regarding case updates and litigation progress Real Estate Transactions Manage residential and commercial real estate closings Review offering plans, contracts of sale, and loan documents Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and management companies Prepare closing statements and transaction checklists Communicate with clients (primarily Mandarin-speaking) throughout the closing process Corporate/Business Law and/or Estate Planning Draft and review commercial contracts and transaction and governance documents Assist with entity structuring, partnership agreements, and M&A due diligence Support negotiation and execution of transactions Conduct legal research related to corporate compliance and regulatory issues Maintain bilingual client communications and coordinate with third parties Estate Planning Prepare estate planning documents such as wills/trusts and funding documents Prepare court filings for probate and other petitions Assist with asset/estate planning and structuring Conduct legal research related to property, estate and tax law issues Maintain bilingual client communications and coordinate with third parties Who You Are Fluent in Mandarin/Chinese and English (required) Admitted to the New York State Bar or awaiting bar results Strong case management and organization skills; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills A proactive team player with initiative and a long-term mindset Prior experience in litigation, real estate, or business law is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $55,000-$70,000 , depending on experience and department Clear performance-based growth path with six-figure income potential within 2-3 years Annual merit-based bonuses Full benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation and company holidays Short- and long-term disability coverage Internal mentorship and training opportunities What to Expect This is a firm where junior attorneys grow fast — because they do real work from day one.
