430475 Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Senior Associate with extensive M&A experience to join the Health Law Transactions team in New York City. The candidate will represent health care providers, private equity sponsors, and other industry participants in complex transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and mergers. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of sophisticated health care transactions. Structure deals and draft and negotiate transaction documents. Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate regulatory workstreams. Manage transaction execution from inception through closing. Serve as a primary contact for clients and interact with various stakeholders. Lead transaction teams and mentor junior attorneys and specialists. Requirements 6+ years of strategic M&A experience, preferably in the health care industry. Experience leading transaction teams and handling large transactions. Strong business judgment and ability to address client needs proactively. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to or eligible for admission to the MA, NY, or DC Bar. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism in engaging with demanding clients. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings. Familiarity with federal and state laws regulating health care providers is preferred. Benefits Comprehensive benefits package.
