Law Clerk (Employment Litigation) Young-Agriesti & Thomas, LLP | Hybrid- Huntington Beach, CA Young-Agriesti & Thomas, LLP is a well-established civil litigation firm dedicated to employment law, handling a wide range of labor and employment matters — from single-plaintiff employment litigation to wage & hour class action and PAGA litigation. We're looking for a highly motivated law clerk to join our team. Employment law experience is a plus, but not required — what matters most is a sharp legal mind and a genuine desire to learn about employment law litigation. This is a hybrid position with occasional in-person responsibilities, though it is primarily remote and best suited for someone who does their best work independently, but still values being part of a close-knit, collaborative team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a college or law student who is eager to gain hands-on litigation experience. Key Responsibilities Organize and analyze case materials and evidence Conduct legal research and draft memoranda Assist senior attorneys and partners with written discovery (propounding and responding) Draft motions and other legal pleadings Communicate directly with clients Manage case files and track deadlines Support all phases of litigation, including trial and arbitration preparation Qualifications Current law student (or college student) based in Southern California Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful, proactive approach to assignments Able to independently research issues and develop well-reasoned solutions Comfortable working independently for extended periods Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software
