Hirschler, a dynamic, multispecialty law firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an experienced associate to join our growing Community Association Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team team that assists clients in the formation, operation, and management of common interest communities. As a member of our Community Association Practice, you will represent developers and common interest communities across a broad spectrum of matters, including statutory compliance, general governance and best practices, document compliance and enforcement, developer transition, warranty issues, condemnation, dissolution, fiduciary duties, fair housing, and dispute resolution. You will create legal structures and draft project governing documents to achieve client objectives and ensure compliance with applicable laws and secondary mortgage market requirements, as well as coordinate required community association and condominium filings with the governing agencies. From the outset, you will have direct client contact and meaningful responsibility, including conducting informative training sessions as needed to ensure clients operate within legal parameters.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Approximately three to six years of experience representing common interest community associations or preparing community association governing documents. While this range reflects our primary focus, we welcome applications from exceptional candidates whose experience falls outside it. Admission to practice in Virginia. Hiring Salary range:

$160,000 - $190,000
