Job Description
The purpose of the Police Chief classification within the Police department is to direct, plan, organize and manage all operational aspects of the Police Department.

Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or closely related field.Experience:
Requires ten years progressively responsible law enforcement experience to include six years in a supervisory role or closely related experience.POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED

NEGOTIABLE, COMMENSURATE WITH EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Special Certifications and Licenses Required Certifications and Licenses Valid in the State of Georgia. Requires POST certification. Physical Demand
