Jobs › Avon, MA › Police Station Clerk Town of Avon Police Station Clerk Avon, MA Apply The Town of Avon seeks qualified candidates for two Police Station Clerks for the Police Department. The primary function of this position is to provide information and assistance to the public and coordinate responses from appropriate police, fire or other municipal agencies. Using radio equipment, telephone or other means of communication and coordinates requests from first responder personnel for additional support services
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED, college degree desirable. Must achieve within the first 3 months of employment, or as soon as reasonable, based upon the availability of courses; CJIS certification, radio communications and public safety software training. Work schedule requirement includes rotating or fixed shifts on nights, holidays, and weekends. Candidates must have ability to work overtime as necessary. The starting hourly pay range is from \$24.86 to \$25.86 This is an AFSCME union position of 40 hours per week based upon bi-weekly average with full-time benefits.
•There is also one 20-hours per week position available with benefits. All employees must successfully complete a CORI (Criminal Offender Records Inquiry) and a physical examination, including a drug test. Active Filters Police Station Clerk Avon, MA Clear All Apply
