Enforce traffic laws through surveillance, traffic stops, and accident investigations while ensuring compliance with local ordinances. Conduct search and seizure procedures legally and ethically, adhering to evidence law standards. Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting injured individuals until medical professionals arrive. Oversee training on use of force, conflict management, procedural law, animal handling, immigration law, loss prevention, security protocols, and other relevant areas. Maintain accurate documentation through report writing; prepare detailed incident reports and shift logs for departmental records. Coordinate with emergency responders during incidents requiring specialized response such as fire or medical emergencies. Foster positive community relations through outreach initiatives and transparent communication efforts. Skills Extensive knowledge of criminal law experience including criminal investigation techniques and criminal procedure. Proficiency in traffic laws enforcement, search and seizure law, evidence law, procedural law knowledge, and local ordinances. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams in high-pressure environments. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for legal documentation. Physical conditioning necessary for patrol duties including standard passenger car operation and maintaining fitness standards. Skilled in firearms handling specific to law enforcement requirements along with use of force training. Ability to perform surveillance activities effectively while maintaining safety protocols. Competence in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations peacefully. Knowledge of animal handling techniques for situations involving animals or service animals.
