Armed Detention Officer Required Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements: Valid California Guard Card Valid PC 832 certification OR a minimum of 3 years of prior Peace Officer experience with a Federal, State, County, or Local law enforcement agency Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit Active California Baton Permit Current CPR/First Aid certification Ability to successfully pass required County background clearance Ability to meet all applicable licensing and certification requirements for the position Please review these requirements carefully before RSVPing.
