Must be available to work every Sunday Who We're Looking For We're looking for an officer who is approachable, calm, friendly, and professional . This is a community-oriented farmers market, so we're looking for someone who enjoys interacting with the public and can provide a reassuring presence without being overly aggressive or confrontational. Active or retired law enforcement officers are welcome to apply. Requirements Active or retired law enforcement officer Active BSIS Guard Card BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit Current CCW Must be able to commit to every Sunday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented Calm and professional demeanor Strong communication and situational awareness Reliable and punctual Comfortable working around families, vendors, and the general public Responsibilities Maintain a visible and professional security presence Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for vendors, staff, and guests Monitor the market and surrounding areas for safety concerns Respond appropriately to incidents and disturbances De-escalate situations when possible and appropriate Communicate with market staff and other security personnel Contact local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Complete basic incident reports when needed This position is best suited for an officer who enjoys community interaction and providing a calm, reassuring presence.

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
