. Applicants must have current Peace Officer POST certification and at least two (2) years' field/patrol experience to qualify as a lateral transfer. Physical Agility Testing, Scenarios, and Oral Board Interviews will occur in November in Boise, Idaho. Anticipated start date is March 2027. General Summary Prevents crime, enforces laws, protects against loss of life and property damage, and makes arrests, when needed. The incumbent uses their own judgment in the performance of duties, referring unusual, unique or complex issues to their sergeant for advice and guidance.

SHIFT INFORMATION

Shifts include day, swing, and night. Work schedule is 5 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, 5 days off (includes one training day each month). Shift pick every six months.
