Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stationed at the front entrance of the property, ensuring a visible and authoritative presence to deter illegal activity.
- Maintain fire lanes clearance, ensuring the safety and accessibility of emergency services.
- Observe and report any suspicious or illegal activity to the store manager.
- Work closely with the store management team to address security concerns and follow their instructions regarding any specific procedures or protocols.
Qualifications:
- Retired police officer with a valid department gun card (required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members of the public and store employees.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, exercising good judgment.
- High level of situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
