We combine extensive law enforcement management experience with a commitment to excellence, clear communication, and officer support. Position Summary LEAMS is seeking commissioned law enforcement officers to support an active traffic control detail across Cameron Parish and Calcasieu Parish. Officers will manage traffic flow and maintain safety during scheduled peak-movement windows. This is a consistent, recurring assignment ideal for officers seeking reliable off-duty hours. Schedule 7 days a week Morning shift: 3:30 AM - 7:30 AM Evening shift: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM Compensation Base pay: $60.00/hour Pay adjustable to compensate for travel distance to the assignment location Responsibilities Direct and control traffic to ensure safe, orderly movement through the detail area Maintain a visible, professional law enforcement presence Respond to and de-escalate roadway situations as needed. Adhere to all applicable department, state, and jurisdictional standards Requirements Active commission as a law enforcement officer in the State of Louisiana Officer in good standing with their agency Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation to the parish assignment locations Strong situational awareness, professionalism, and communication skills How to Apply Submit inquiries and interest to mailto:operations@leams.net.
