Job Description
Metro Transit Police Department is rapidly growing due to the expansion of light rail and Rapid Transit Bus systems. We are a licensed police force committed to the safety of our customers and employees, serving eight counties and approximately 85 cities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region. As a Sworn Officer, you will protect employees and passengers, and safeguard property and equipment of Metro Transit across all municipalities of our Metro-wide system. You will patrol assigned areas in a squad car, on foot, or onboard transit and perform visual inspections and recognize, respond, investigate, and enforce violations of laws and ordinances.
