Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, Court Management or related field. Degree must be from a school accredited in the chosen field. Prefer two years of experience in Social Work or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license, proof of liability insurance and an automobile that can be used on duty (mileage reimbursement is provided). Must be at least 21 years old. Salary range is $49,894 (bachelors) $54,548 (Masters).

Duties:
Renders screening decisions based upon submitted affidavits. Completes detention screening tool and makes detention decision. Prepares file of juvenile for further action by the Warrant Unit. Runs record check via REJIS and JIS computer system. Prepares and types logs reflecting the day's activity. Reviews and notarizes affidavits submitted by Court staff, police and agency personnel.
