Job Description
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Probationary Police Officer filled. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the enforcement of state and the prevention of crimes, as well as technical and administrative tasks in support of the Police Department. Applicants must be available for emergency recall within twenty (20) minutes of notification. Preference will be given to individuals that are CLEET Certified and COPs graduates. Candidates will need to be eligible to participate in the Oklahoma Police Pension System. For new members, this includes the ability to pass a pension physical and be between 21 and 45 years of age. This position offers full benefits including vacation, retirement, health and dental insurance, and paid holidays.
