Overview Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Police Officer and become a vital protector of community safety and order. In this dynamic role, you will engage in proactive policing, respond swiftly to emergencies, and uphold the law with integrity and professionalism. Duties Enforce local laws, traffic regulations, and ordinances to maintain public safety and order Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring law enforcement intervention Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings through detailed report writing Execute arrest procedures following established protocols while ensuring safety for all parties involved Perform surveillance activities to monitor suspicious behavior or criminal activity discreetly and effectively Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies Manage search and seizure operations in accordance with evidence law and procedural law requirements Operate standard passenger vehicles safely during patrols and responses, maintaining excellent driving standards Handle firearms responsibly in accordance with law enforcement training on firearms handling in law enforcement contexts Engage in conflict management and use of force training to de-escalate situations while ensuring safety for everyone involved Enforce laws related to animal control, immigration, loss prevention, security, and local ordinances as needed Skills Strong knowledge of criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence law, search and seizure law, traffic laws, and procedural law Proven experience in criminal investigation techniques and report writing with attention to detail Excellent physical conditioning to handle demanding patrol duties and emergency responses effectively Leadership qualities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism Proficiency in the use of firearms handling specific to law enforcement standards and use of force protocols Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely over extended periods during patrol shifts Experience with surveillance techniques and conflict management strategies for effective crowd control or suspect apprehension Familiarity with animal handling procedures when dealing with animal-related incidents or community concerns Knowledge of local ordinances, immigration laws, fire safety protocols, first aid procedures including CPR, and basic security practices Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts community well-being. $34,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
