Job Description

Join the City of Eau Claire's Police Department! We are now accepting applications for current Police Officer openings and a hiring eligibility list. Now accepting lateral transfers!
Requirements:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.) Possess a minimum of 60 post high school semester credits OR must have three (3) years full-time employment or military experience and obtain 60 post high school semester credits within five (5) years of appointment Possess and maintain a valid driver's license Be a U.S. Citizen Be at least 18 years old Have no felony convictions on record Applicants must successfully pass each of the following components: written examination, physical agility test, oral interview, polygraph examination, and psychological evaluation.Salary Range:
$33.90- to $42.08
- per hour ($68,057.26 to $84,483.83 annually), plus excellent fringe benefits.
- Cadet rate - $27.26, payable during initial Police Academy attendance, if applicable
- Available after a minimum of twenty (20) years of service
