We are looking for a litigation attorney to join a Scottsdale, Arizona practice handling property subrogation matters and sophisticated fire-loss disputes across the western United States. This role is well suited for a lawyer who wants hands-on involvement in complex civil cases and the opportunity to build courtroom experience early. The position offers a collaborative, trial-oriented setting for an attorney who brings strong legal writing, sound judgment, and a disciplined approach to case management.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in property subrogation and fire-loss litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution. Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings with a strong focus on persuasive written advocacy. Manage discovery activities, including drafting requests, reviewing productions, and coordinating responses in complex civil cases. Analyze technical records, expert findings, and case evidence to develop litigation strategy and support damages claims. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and courtroom proceedings while gaining meaningful litigation exposure. Work closely with colleagues, experts, and clients to advance case objectives and maintain progress across multiple active matters. Handle product liability, construction defect, premises liability, insurance, and general liability issues as they arise within broader litigation assignments. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with a strong academic background. At least 3 years of experience as a licensed attorney, with civil litigation experience preferred. Active bar membership in good standing in at least one western U.S. jurisdiction. Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents effectively. Experience managing discovery and supporting case development in contested matters. Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail. Detail-oriented, team-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality legal work.
