$150,000-$275,000 annually, depending on experience, plus potential bonusesPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation to manage cases from inception through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.

The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with excellent legal writing and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage a substantial caseload. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex, high-value personal injury matters while working alongside experienced attorneys and litigation support professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trialDevelop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and overall case valueConduct factual and legal investigationsReview and evaluate medical records, treatment, and damagesCommunicate directly with clients regarding case progress, strategy, and expectationsDraft settlement demands and negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counselPrepare and file complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documentsDraft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories and requests for productionTake and defend depositionsDraft, oppose, and argue motions as neededPrepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trialConduct legal research and prepare written legal analysisWork collaboratively with supervising attorneys, paralegals, and support staffManage deadlines, court appearances, and competing priorities effectivelyQualificationsActive California Bar license in good standing required2+ years of personal injury litigation experience requiredStrong understanding of California personal injury law and civil litigation proceduresProven ability to independently manage a personal injury caseloadExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong negotiation and advocacy skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlinesSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyStrong professional judgment and work ethicCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with attorneys and support staffCompensation & Benefits$150,000-$275,000 annual salary, commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonus opportunities401(k)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHMO and PPO medical plan optionsHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time offPaid parkingEmployee discountsReferral bonus opportunitiesProfessional growth and advancement opportunitiesTeam events and company-sponsored activities
