Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Supervisor to lead a team of immigration professionals supporting employment-based immigration matters. This role is responsible for supervising junior team members, managing complex casework, serving as a client-facing resource, and ensuring the successful preparation and filing of employment-based visa petitions and applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong business immigration expertise, leadership experience, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to junior Business Immigration Consultants and team members. Serve as a liaison between the immigration team, Client Services Managers, and Attorneys. Manage and oversee a high-volume caseload involving employment-based immigration matters. Analyze case information, assess eligibility, and determine appropriate immigration strategies. Conduct case intake, troubleshoot issues, and establish case-specific strategies with clients. Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications with government agencies. Draft petitions, applications, support letters, and other immigration-related documentation. Communicate regularly with clients, foreign nationals, and internal stakeholders regarding case status and procedural requirements. Review casework prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and quality standards. Monitor case progression and ensure deadlines are met. Prioritize and assign work, balance team workloads, and monitor productivity. Review and approve client billing under attorney or partner supervision. Utilize case management systems and reporting tools to oversee case activity and team performance. Generate reports and provide updates to management as needed. Support continuous process improvement initiatives and promote best practices. Maintain current knowledge of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, government regulations, and immigration processes. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Paralegal Certificate required. Minimum 7+ years of business immigration experience in a law firm or corporate immigration environment. Strong knowledge of employment-based immigration processes, including both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories. Prior experience supervising or mentoring immigration professionals preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads and competing priorities. Strong understanding of procedural requirements for immigration petitions and applications. Experience conducting case assessments, analyzing supporting documentation, and developing immigration strategies. Advanced client service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience using immigration case management and reporting systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately. Preferred Experience Supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience reviewing and approving casework prepared by junior staff. Exposure to client billing review and matter management. Strong background handling a variety of employment-based immigration matters.
