Job Description Manage civil litigation matters through multiple stages of the case lifecycle Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, briefs, and other litigation documents Conduct and defend depositions and participate in witness preparation Perform legal research and develop case strategies with senior attorneys Handle court appearances, hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings Review and analyze evidence, discovery materials, and case documents Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy Work with experts, opposing counsel, paralegals, and other litigation professionals Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Maintain deadlines and proactively move assigned matters toward resolution Qualifications Active California Bar membership required 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Experience with depositions and court appearances strongly preferred Knowledge of California civil procedure and court rules Strong organizational and case-management skills Ability to communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Why You Will Love Working Here You will have the opportunity to do meaningful litigation work rather than being limited to narrow assignments.
