We are looking for a Real Estate Attorney to join a dynamic legal practice serving clients in Lafayette, California. This opportunity is suited for an attorney with at least three years of experience who can advise on real estate matters and contribute to a broader practice focused on environmental, land use, and natural resources issues. Candidates at the associate or counsel level will be considered based on depth of experience and ability to manage sophisticated legal work.

Responsibilities:

Advise clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including transactions, disputes, and regulatory issues affecting property use and development. Prepare, review, and negotiate legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, easements, and other real estate-related instruments. Develop litigation strategy and draft motions, pleadings, and other court filings in connection with real estate and civil litigation matters. Conduct legal research and provide practical guidance on land use, environmental, and natural resources issues that intersect with property matters. Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings involving real estate rights and obligations. Partner with colleagues across related practice areas to deliver coordinated legal solutions for complex client matters. Manage active caseloads efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal analysis, responsiveness, and client service. Licensed attorney in good standing with the ability to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. At least 3 years of experience handling real estate law matters in a law firm or comparable legal environment. Demonstrated background in civil litigation, including drafting motions and other substantive legal filings. Strong knowledge of real estate law, with the ability to analyze transactional and dispute-related issues. Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with a broader legal team. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, client-focused counsel.
