We are looking for a litigation associate to join a respected boutique law firm in Oakland, California. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks across product liability, toxic tort, and other complex civil matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Prepare persuasive motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal filings with a high level of accuracy and strategic focus.
• Conduct written discovery, review case records, and analyze factual and legal issues to support defense strategies.
• Participate in depositions, witness preparation, expert coordination, and broader trial readiness efforts as cases progress.
• Work closely with clients to provide updates, gather critical information, and address litigation needs in a responsive manner.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy for matters involving statewide or multi-matter litigation exposure.
• Support hearings, court appearances, and other advocacy-related activities while strengthening litigation and courtroom skills.
