The role focuses on representing employees in employment-related disputes, providing preventative counseling, managing the full litigation lifecycle, and ensuring excellent client service. The successful candidate will handle investigations, depositions, dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, and, when necessary, trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, retaliation, and employment contract disputes. Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents with precision and timeliness. Plan, prepare for, and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts; coordinate and manage discovery processes and e-discovery tools. Prepare witnesses, exhibits, trial binders, and other materials for hearings and trials; assist or lead courtroom advocacy as needed (trial experience is a plus). Conduct legal research and prepare written legal analyses, memos, and briefs on complex employment law issues. Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active admission to the state bar in which the attorney will practice. 3+ years of experience practicing employment law with demonstrated litigation experience; experience representing both employers and employees is a plus. Proven experience taking and defending depositions and managing discovery (required). Strong knowledge of federal and state employment statutes, regulations, and case law (Employment Law expertise required). Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting persuasive briefs and motions, and clear client communication (Attorney skills required). Track record in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution; trial experience preferred but not required (trial is a nice-to-have skill). Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, managing a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
