About the Firm We are a boutique law firm dedicated to helping clients successfully navigate the immigration system. We specialize in family-based immigration and provide compassionate, strategic advocacy to help our clients build better futures. Our practice is expanding, and we are actively hiring Immigration Attorneys to join our team in our West Covina office. This is an excellent opportunity to launch or grow your career with a stable, client-centered firm. Job Overview We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Immigration Attorneys who are committed to strong client advocacy. We welcome both experienced immigration attorneys and newly barred attorneys eager to develop their skills in this rewarding. Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
Duties Litigation & Appearances:
Represent clients before the EOIR Immigration Court, the Asylum Office and USCIS.
Case Management:
Manage a caseload effectively while supervising paralegals and legal assistants to ensure high-quality, timely work product.
Legal Writing:
Conduct legal research and draft motions, appeals, waivers, briefs, and other filings. Perform any other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law with eligibility to appear in Immigration Court (California Bar membership preferred). 3+ years of experience in immigration law preferred. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases under tight deadlines. Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to drive for in person hearings and interviews as needed. Newly barred attorneys with strong potential are also encouraged to apply. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors and experience
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
