Location:
This is a full-time, 100% on-site position based in Milford, Connecticut, offering the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced litigators in a highly collaborative office environment.
Note:
Applicants must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and have experience practicing in Connecticut State Court and/or Federal Court. This is an in-office litigation role best suited for attorneys who are passionate about advocacy and courtroom practice. Confidential Employer. Job Description Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution. Appear in Connecticut State and Federal Courts. Handle courtroom proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings. Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda. Research legal and factual issues to develop effective litigation strategies. Analyze business disputes, contracts, records, and potential claims. Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys while managing substantive case responsibilities. Provide exceptional client service throughout all phases of litigation. Qualifications Connecticut Bar admission required. 2+ years of litigation experience as an attorney preferred; experienced attorneys at higher levels are encouraged to apply. Experience practicing in Connecticut State Court and/or Federal Court required. Passion for litigation and courtroom advocacy. Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Commercial litigation experience preferred.
