Jackson O Keefe, LLP, a mid-size firm located in Wethersfield, CT. We represent plaintiffs in personal injury actions We also defend clients in personal injury actions on behalf of various inaurance companies and
TPAs Summary of Litigation Attorney Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-time civil litigation attorney to defend and prosecute personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage litigation
Responsibilities:
Assist partners on complex cases Handle defense and plaintiff matters independently, with partners as a resource for issues Research and draft motions and opposition to motions, draft pleadings, prepare written discovery compliance Prepare clients for depositions, defend and prosecute depositions
Requirements:
Excellent research and writing skills Ideal candidates will have 2 to 5 years of litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, case management skills. CT Bar admission
Benefits and Compensation:
Compensation starting at $90,000 or more per year depending on experience; there is fast partnership potential depending on experience; lateral moves will also be considered The firm offers an attractive work-life balance.
