The Ward Law Group is seeking a hands-on Reductions Team Lead with plaintiff personal injury experience to coach specialists, move cases toward closing, and negotiate medical balances under attorney supervision. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced reductions professional ready to take the next step in leadership or a current team lead who enjoys developing others while staying involved in the work.
What You'll DoLead daily reductions workflows, prioritize assignments, and help specialists resolve obstacles that delay settlement disbursements.
Negotiate hospital liens, medical provider balances, and other healthcare-related claims under attorney supervision and firm procedures.
Manage your own reductions caseload while coaching team members on negotiation strategies, documentation, and follow-through.
Track reduction results, turnaround times, case volume, and aging files; take action to keep work moving.
Review balances, written reduction agreements, and closing documentation for accuracy; coordinate with attorneys and closing staff.
Escalate legal questions and disputed liens to the appropriate attorney.
What You BringAt least two years of hands-on plaintiff personal injury reductions experience, including direct negotiations with hospitals and medical providers.
Experience leading, training, or mentoring reductions or settlement team members.
Demonstrated ability to explain your negotiation approach and share measurable results, such as reductions achieved, monthly volume, and turnaround times.
Experience managing a high-volume caseload from balance verification through documented reduction agreements and closing coordination.
Strong organization, clear communication, and proficiency with legal case management software; Litify experience preferred.
QualificationsBilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
Minimum 3 years of personal injury reductions, lien resolution, medical bill reductions, or settlement closing experience within a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
Minimum 1 year of experience leading, training, mentoring, or supervising team members.
Strong experience using case management software, reporting tools, and productivity tracking metrics.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Litify or Salesforce.
Experience auditing case files and employee performance.
Experience managing high-volume reductions workflows.
Demonstrated success improving team productivity and process efficiency.
